Tasmania is the ultimate holiday destination.  Our rich colonial heritage blends with a café lifestyle, unique shopping and indulgent gourmet experiences only a stones throw from pristine wilderness and wild ocean vistas.

Visitors will experience the charm of changing seasons and unspoiled landscapes, and discover amazing botanic treasure troves in Tasmania's National Parks and World Heritage wilderness areas.

There is truly something for everyone.  Families can meet native animals in a wildlife park, enjoy a bush walk with a picnic on the beach, experience a cave tour or a river cruise, then search for ghosts at a historic site.

The more adventurous can choose from wilderness walks, superlative surfing, ocean kayaking, mountain biking, jet boat rides and white water rafting.

The cosmopolitan visitor will marvel at our world class art galleries and unique craft centres, restaurants and wine centres.

Visitors driving in Tasmania will enjoy leisurely travel along picturesque roads, with easy driving distances to a new adventure everyday.  Or if you want to sit back and be looked after there are a range of tour options from walking tours of our historic cities to boat cruises along the same rivers travelled by Australia's early explorers.

'My name is Bob Russell and I recently requested some information from the Tasmanian Tourist Centre. Included was some information on Cosy Cabins and I phoned and spoke to Haley Hodges who gave us all the information we needed and later we asked her to organize our [51st. Wedding anniversary] holiday around Tasmania. We are very impressed with all of your staff who were most friendly and helpful and your Cabins were of a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. Congratulations on being in charge of a top, well run business and we will advise our local travel agent of your organization. Please pass on our thanks and best wishes to Haley. Best wishes from V. & B. Russell'
'We are Ivan and Anastasia, people who stayed at Devonport cosy cabins recently on our trip to Tasmania from Melbourne. We wanted to let you know what a great man you have working for you referring to Brian. He and his wife provided us with excellent service, care, information and advise and we would like to tell you how great our stay was. Thank you very much, we will be using cosy cabins again.'
'(Cradle) It is good for children because it lets them interact with nature. Last time we came a wombat weed on my suitcase. Plus when it was easter the animals ate some of our eggs! 10/10. See you next year! C. Schelleman Melbourne VIC'
