Pet-friendly Discovery Holiday Parks – Lake Tinaroo (formerly Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park) on the Atherton Tableland in Far North Queensland is the ideal holiday destination for the whole family. Located midway between Port Douglas and Innisfail and just an hour and a half from Cairns, this park is a short drive from all the conveniences of nearby Atherton.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Tinaroo Range, Lake Tinaroo is famous for large Barramundi and Red Claw crayfish, while its sheltered bays offer excellent swimming and skiing conditions. Atherton’s Chinatown features a wide selection of attractions including the Award-winning Hou Wang Temple and the Atherton Birds of Prey Show, plus a wide range of cafes and coffee shops to while away the hours. For nature lovers and hikers, the region features numerous national parks including nearby Danbulla, Dinden and the stunning Crater Lake National Parks.

Our range of cabins extends to our Poolside Cabins and Superior Cabins which provide self-contained accommodation for 6, through to our Deluxe Waterfront Villas providing luxury family accommodation. All provide parking for a motor vehicle and boat, feature covered decks with patio chairs and come complete with colour TV, fridge/freezer, crockery, kitchen utensils, cutlery and cookware.
Set deep within the quiet park, our many camp and caravan sites feature individual access to water and power, with the new amenities block near the Granite Springs Lagoons close by.

Waterfall Circuit
After the wonderful rainfall on the tablelands why not take a trip to the fantastic local waterfalls.Millaa Millaa Falls where you can have a bbq and a swim. Next is the Zillie Falls which can be viewed from a platform near the road. Last on the circuit is Ellinjaa Falls, this secluded falls are great for swimming.
